LIVERPOOL CYCLE FESTIVAL 2008

Liverpool's annual bike festival is back for another year, bigger and bolder than ever!

It's taking place in Williamson Square in Liverpool city centre, on Saturday 21st June, from 11am-4pm.

The program includes a variety of cycling-related activities and attractions, including:

  • ride a 'strange' bike (and a few normal ones too!)
  • take a virtual bike ride
  • bikes that your grandparents rode (and even older!)
  • mix your own smoothie using your own pedal power!
  • ...and lots more!

Cycling Solutions will be there too with information on what we do, why we do it and how you can join in the fun too.

You can download the official leaflet by clicking here, or get in touch with us for more information.

BIKE TIME RIDES ARE BACK!

The Bike Time rides are led by Cycling Solutions staff and other experienced leaders, and there's an opportunity to have your bike checked before each ride.

Organised again by the MCC, these are group efforts involving cyclists from all over Merseyside to keep the Liverpool Loop Line, part of the nationwide Sustrans network, free of debris and other problems (including damage by vandals).

  • Bike Events
There are other annual or regular events, like 'Bike Week' in early summer. We often send a team to these events, and our 'Dr. Bike' stall to do free checks and repairs.
